What does having a Vocation mean to you?
We have asked many groups of people over the years to tell us what having a vocation means to them. Here is a list of the most usual answers.
What does having a vocation mean to you?
- Acknowledgement and deepening understanding of becoming the person that God has made me to be
- A calling by God to a specific task - not necessarily ordination
- A burning desire to give of oneself to others and sharing talents
- Reason you were made -what you are here to do
- God's calling might not even be church based
- Being called by God, others and yourself to be someone you might not be now
